Earle Abrahamson

Earle is the Programme Leader and senior lecturer in Sports Therapy at the University of East London. He is the national chair of the Massage Training Institute, Vice-Chair of the General Council for Massage Therapies, and sits on the professional board for soft tissue therapy at the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council. He is a senior practitioner in soft tissue therapy and principal fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Earle has won numerous awards for teaching including the 2019 Fellowship for ISSOTL (The International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. He regularly publishes academic articles and books.

Together with Jane Langston he has authored: Making Sense of Human Anatomy and Physiology - Lotus Publishers 2016 and due out this October is the "Concise Manual of Muscle Testing" - Handspring Publishers.

Earle's love for anatomy and teaching shines through his scholarship and ability to connect students and practitioners with great learning content and he has recently won a grant to further develop a professional peer mentoring scheme.
