Darien Pritchard

Darien Pritchard has been a bodyworker and massage trainer for 40 years, including 5 years teaching in universities and he has taught professional development courses for massage professionals for three decades. He has been a member of Massage Councils involved in raising UK massage training standards.

In his teaching, Darien has pioneered a focus on the practitioner’s body use and hand use as an integral part of massage training in order to work in the most effective manner so therapists can sustain a career in massage. This includes being a pioneer of Hands Free Massage (the skilful and sensitive use of the forearms and elbows to save the practitioner’s hands). At the same time, he developed RhythmMobility® (rhythmical bodywork) in his practice.
